Once we've shipped your package, we can't do anything with it once it's in the hands of customs officials and your country's postal service.
We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or undelivered packages. If your package does not arrive you can call your local postal service to inquire about your package. Packages are frequently held up at customs and this is completely out of our control.
Customs/Duty Fees:
Please know your country’s custom fees and practices. Information and prices vary from country to country, and we have no way of knowing what they are outside of the Australia. This is especially true for the UK, all of Europe and USA etc. Once your order leaves the Australia, we no longer have control so please know your country’s policies and duty fees before ordering. Customs processing times are unpredictable.
What Materials do you use?
Most of our jewellery is handmade using 14kt gold fill, rose gold fill & fine sterling silver chains, clasps and components.
Our jewellery wears extremely well. With proper care it can last a lifetime.
Sterling silver will naturally tarnish on some people, but it can easily be polished back to its original shine very easily.
We have some vermeil gemstone pendants (sterling silver heavily dipped in 14k gold). Each listing lists the materials used.
We also using gold plated and silver-plated components. Which can be tarnish with the time.
What is Gold or Silver Plated?
Generally, plating is the process through which a piece of jewellery made from a certain metal or alloy is covered with a layer of gold or silver. For example, a copper or silver ring with a layer of gold on top would be sold as gold plated. Gold plated jewellery costs less than a gold filled or sterling silver piece.
What is Gold filled or rose gold filled?
14k gold fill is a beautiful more affordable alternative to solid gold as it is a genuine layer of gold permanently bonded onto base metal with heat and pressure that contains 100+ times more gold than gold plated. It is extremely durable, won't chip or flake and is tarnish resistant.
Do Jewellery need any care?
You should care for your Gold filled and plated jewellery in the same way that you care for your solid gold pieces. You should avoid chlorinated and salt water. Soap, deodorants, chemicals and perspiration can all affect jewellery. Avoid swimming and showering with any type of jewellery.
